Our friends and families have all reacted in their own ways to this pandemic. Some piled up toilet paper and flour, making stocks to last a year. Some go about their days as normal, careful. Others are trying to make the most of their continuous self-isolation. And some consider it’s all fake.

No matter how we’re dealing with COVID-19, the anxiety we all share about the future is valid. But it can also fuel our curiosity and desire for learning. Because learning is all about the experiences and interactions we have.

We’re social.
We interact with people.
We listen to what they’re saying.
And then try to apply or consider the insights that person shared with us (and, of course, the other way around).

When it comes to learning, there are 3 key pain points in finding the right and most relevant content:
  • there’s too much content out there
  • you can’t always verify the quality
  • is it up-to-date?
This is ITCamp Community’s big WHY.
Our own Why we’re here: there’s so much to share, and so much to learn! ITCamp Community makes up the perfect setting for keeping up with what’s new in tech or best practices.

And today we’re happy to announce our newest online meetup: join us online on July 9th at 4.15 PM (EEST)We’ll focus on cloud architecture and ways of securing the move into the cloud. Ahmed Nabil, Cloud and Datacenter Management MVP, Microsoft Regional Director

Whether people admit or not, everyone is moving to the cloud and all future businesses will run somewhere on the internet. Moving to the cloud requires a different set of architecture and mindset. Data is stored, accessed, and processed on different platforms and devices. Employees are working anywhere from the world, corporate data is no more under company IT custody. CISOs and CIOs need to think differently and set a new Cloud Security Architecture. This session will try to draw the main areas of concern from a Security perspective while moving to the cloud.
